Start of House Production

Frequently asked questions related to starting a modular house manufacturing organisation:

  1. How much initial capital is needed to start?
  2. What automatic equipment do we need to buy to start production?
  3. Will one butterfly table be enough for the first stage?

Unless you have a signed contract for 300-500 housing modules per year, which would guarantee you constant income and work for the next years, then in my opinion - forget about automatic production line, hydraulic assembly tables and other production delights.

  • First of all, an automatic house production line only works when fully loaded with standard items. Each reconfiguration of the line takes a certain amount of time and its original purpose of speed assembly - will be lost.
  • Secondly, if you want to buy a single element from an automatic line and run it as a stand-alone mechanism, it may work, but will it be efficient .

For example, the same assembly table "butterfly"- is an integral part of a complete automatic assembly chain of elements for modules. If we install it separately, the speed of turning one element can be replaced and even accelerated by a conventional 3 tonne telpher, which can be used for other production processes.

The feasibility of such a purchase is nil!

If your startup budget is limited and you haven't fully decided on the niche you want to pursue, then my advice to you is:

  1. Decide on a niche and a product that will become your calling card
  2. Make a step-by-step business plan for the production development
  3. Find a team and technical staff
  4. Work out the technical part of the new product
  5. Start selling the product with a 3D picture, watch the customer's reaction
  6. Create the first demo at home and work on the bugs
  7. Start production

And most importantly, only the burning eyes of your team can get you to a real Start!
