Unlocking Doors: Exploration of Production Facilities on Open Day

Throughout my tenure in the modular industry, I've observed its evolution through various stages. Interestingly, many leaders and companies today share the same perspectives I held years ago.

Home manufacturers often choose to keep information guarded from their partners and clients regarding their products. Why? Mainly due to the fear that competitors might capitalize on their innovations, replicating or improving upon their modular homes at a quicker pace and lower cost.

Is this reluctance rooted in a lack of confidence or is it a result of chronic caution?

A decade ago, when we embarked on developing the first modular buildings, accessing relevant information online was a formidable challenge. We treated our drawings as prized possessions, safeguarding them as if they held sacred secrets!

Reflecting on those early projects now, I'm heartened to realize that those drawings could have been leveraged to outmanoeuvre competitors.

Today, we find ourselves in a fascinating era where concealing our technologies, quality benchmarks, and assembly efficiency equates to obstructing our progress. After all, these are precisely the aspects customers are most eager to learn about.

How can developers or officials be persuaded of the superior assembly quality of modular buildings if they're never given the opportunity to witness it firsthand? And if everyone remains hesitant to unveil their technological advancements?

It's imperative that every government official witnesses and interacts with a module fresh off the factory production line.

Imagine if every modular factory nationwide hosted an "open day" event once every month or two.

Why withhold what should rightfully be a source of pride?

Adopting such an approach has the potential to reshape perceptions of our industry, illuminating the significance of our work, our methods, and the compelling reasons behind it for the future!
